Hy-BIRD(TM) combines optical and inertial data streams for uninterrupted, all-attitude tracking. Optical technology provides 6 degrees-of-freedom tracking of its detector's location 240 times/sec with accuracy better than 1°, ensuring undistorted helmet tracking in fixed, motion-based, and mobile environments. Inertial sensor takes over when optical tracker is not operational, tracking Yaw, Pitch, and Roll angles until optical sensor is working.

Sensor improves safety and activation for swinging doors.
Bodyguard III overhead presence sensor uses diffused active IR sensing to protect entire swing path of automatic swinging doors, from guide rails through to threshold. Rain and snow mode reduces nuisance openings due to misread environmental cues, while learn time feature ensures that objects abandoned inside detection area will not inhibit sensor function. Microprocessor controlled unit can be programmed using BEA Universal remote.

Lockout prevents accidents/injuries during servicing.
Apollo® OSHA-compliant lockout device protects workers from accidents and injuries during servicing and maintenance of actuator-controlled valves. Available in 6 sizes, it features top and bottom ISO 5211-style tapping to facilitate mounting between actuator and valve. Product, constructed with cast 316 stainless steel and 300 Series stainless steel, locks automated valve into fully open or closed position and accommodates up to 6 locks.

Connector System withstands harsh environments.
Optical Industrial LC Duplex connector system combines fiber optic connection performance with industrial-environment endurance. To ensure environmentally sealed optical connection, assemblies feature push-pull insertion and bayonet-style mechanical latch. Bulkhead adapter has sealed panel, feed-through design. Multimode fiber style is suited for long-distance or remote connections to 300 m, while single-mode fiber style covers distances over 1 km.

Clamping System offers hydraulic pull cylinder alternative.
Manually operated Speed Block lets operator tighten clamp when drive screw is not accessible; cam-actuated piston moves drive plate up and down, loosening and tightening clamp screw. Used on any clamp that uses straight draw, product is offered in single station suited for clamping pieces over 2 in. in diameter. Mounting holes are pre-machined on 4.125 bolt circle for 3- or 4-hole installation. Unit also mounts on rotary tables.

Quad-Channel Line Driver is suited for laboratory use.
Featuring 10 kohm input impedance, PRL 444 self-contained buffer pod drives 4 TTL/CMOS signals into 50 ohm loads and can receive signals from devices with low drive current. Unit comes in aluminum housing with ac adapter and BNC or SMA signal connectors. With 50 ohm load terminations, all outputs can drive 100 ft of 50 ohm cables at clock rates exceeding 60 MHz. Applications include digital communications, test and measurement, and system integration.

Valveless Piston Pump is suited for metering applications.
Series PF employs valveless design that minimizes clogging and allows for consistent metering and dosing of even soft-solid containing fluids at flow rates to .26 gpm and pressures to 100 psi. Constructed with reciprocating and rotating piston, unit offers various mounting options and chemical compatibility. It comes with stepper motor, that, when used with electronic controller, offers programmable operation with reproducible results.

Hot Metal Detector features programmable operation.
Foto-captor lets users program set-points to specific applications from 300-800°C. It accepts input voltages of 24 Vdc or 110 Vac and provides transistor or opto-isolated output options. Additional options include water cooling, air purge, and application-specific viewing lenses.

Piston Pumps are suited for heavy-duty applications.
Offered with continuous-duty, single- or 3-phase motors from ¼-¾ hp, GH Series articulating piston compressors and vacuum pumps feature oil-less design with permanently lubricated and sealed bearings, cast iron cylinders, and stainless steel valves. Pressure models include check and safety relief valves as well as inlet filters, while vacuum models include exhaust mufflers. Pumps deliver air flow to 5.2 cfm, pressure to 175 psi, and vacuum to 27.5 in. Hg.

Cooling Products optimize data center thermal management.
Used together or independently, COLDFRONT products automate thermal management of data centers, central offices, and communication centers. Products include COLDFRONT NODE temperature data acquisition system and COLDFRONT TILE fan-assisted, perforated floor tile. Thermal management software, COLDFRONT THERMAL SERVER, communicates with NODEs to read temperature measured and commands tile fans to operate at different speeds as required.

Surfactant helps reduce use of flame retardants.
NIAX(TM) silicone L-650 is used in flame retardant grades of polyurethane slabstock foam used in furniture, bedding, and automotive products to reduce amount of combustion modification additives. It can be applied in conventional foam manufacturing processes as well as in those that use CO₂ as auxiliary blowing agent. Product delivers very fine cell structure in CO₂ processes and boosts flame-retardant performance for flexible polyurethane foam.

Regenerative AC Drive features single-unit design.
Compact, stand-alone, fully integrated 4-quadrant drive, ACS800-U11, incorporates active supply unit and built-in LCL filter to eliminate high-frequency harmonics. Harmonic performance lets drive help maintain power-supply quality as well as recover energy from process and feed it back into network. Rated from 7.5-125 hp, product incorporates NEMA Type 1 protection, flexible I/O, control panel, and menu-driven help for parameter setup.

Frictionless Centrifugal Chiller uses magnetic bearings.
McQuay® frictionless centrifugal chiller utilizes oil-free, magnetic bearings in order to attain sound levels as low as 77 dBA. It operates from as low as 0.375 kW/ton IPLV and features full load performance as low as 0.62 kW/ton. Requiring less than 5 A to start, unit uses HFC-134a refrigerant and incorporates MicroTech II(TM) controls with Protocol Selectability(TM) feature. Variable frequency drives unload chiller to 10% of full load.

Wall Adapter is rated 4 W and has flip plug design.
Designed to save space during storage or travel, PSM04A measures 2.73 x 1.89 x 0.98 in. and weighs 5.12 oz. It is suited for use with cell phones, PDAs, and personal entertainment devices and carries cUL/UL safety approvals. Capable of producing dc output voltage of 5 V, adapter offers no load power consumption of less than 0.5 W.

Software monitors process variations in QA applications.
Synergy 2000(TM) v6.0 is used to monitor and react to process variation during production and inspection. It provides tools that support Six Sigma quality initiatives and is suited for companies that monitor processes at multiple locations in real-time. Half Brick DC-DC Converters deliver 120 A output.
Polaris 2 converters have isolated, fixed-frequency design, which uses synchronous rectification to achieve efficiencies up to 92% and operates without de-rating. Having no external bias requirements or min load requirements, units offer remote on/off feature and constant frequency operation. With current density of 46 A/in.³, single output units deliver 120 A for 1.2, 1.5, and 1.8 V versions; 100 A for 2.5 V; 80 A for 3.3 V; and 55 A for 5 V versions.

Software secures data on portable USB Flash drive.
P.I. Protector(TM) installs to and runs from USB flash drive to protect students from leaving personal or course-related information behind after using Internet on classroom or other public computers. Used on any Windows PC, portable software application lets users retain Internet settings, such as Favorites, history, home page, and cookies, on USB flash drive. It also offers portable Outlook® and Outlook Express email features.

Ventilator has modular design to facilitate maintenance.
AAF®-HermanNelson® Model AV use GentleFlo(TM) Air Moving Technology, face-and-bypass damper air control, and draw-through design. Along with MicroTech II(TM) unit controllers with Protocol Selectability(TM) feature, unit provides one-piece welded frame and modular fan section that can be removed as one piece for service or to access modular coil section for cleaning. Drain pan, made from non-corrosive materials, slopes left or right for installation flexibility.

SMT Connectors are offered in several stacking heights.
Backwards compatible, 1.27 mm pitch Surface Mount Connectors (SMCs), also available in press-fit and IDC versions, transmit differential signals at data rates to 2.5 Gbps. Characteristics include double-sided design of female contact; heat-resistant insulation bodies with polarization, pre-centering, and optional coding; and 2 solid-metal SMT mounting brackets. Products are offered in board-to-board stacking heights of 6.2, 6.7, 8.2, and 9.0 mm with 12, 26, 50, 68, and 80 pins.
